Units is a decorative and modular storage system that can be made to order in a variety of distinctive colour combinations, and can be installed in a number of different configurations depending on the need of the consumer. An investigation into memory was the departure point for this collection, an exploration into how we remember and value our connections to the past. The material language refers to the often-contradictory amorphous nature of memory as it evolves and transforms with time. The rigid external structure gives a solid form, which is balanced by a felt inner that invites touch and seduces the user to interact with it.
