Bookstore was created after I had collected a range of discarded books found next to bins in Berlin markets and terraced housing garden walls in Easton, Bristol. Being selective about the books I collected, all where written in languages that I could not understand. By doing this there functionality and purpose were stripped. Re-contextualising these objects I explored paper mechanics creating Bookstore; a decorative storage devise, where the user can slide thin object inside, such as letters.
